Pros: very sharp real macro lens - high 135 mm resolution
Cons: CAs on landscape shootings in the corners
Sharpness: 10    Aberrations: 9    Bokeh: 9    Handling: 10    Value: 10    Camera Used: pentax k-5 k-x k200 k-s1 Fuji x-t100 x-e1

Just arrived - and tested. What a versatile MACRO bagain ! I've got the better one ring lens.

The aperture is shutting a bit slowly - for wide open photos with bokeh or system camers like Fujifilm in macro mode suitable.

Integrated macro tube - very usefull !!!

+++ excellent close ups / macro sharpness - but only (+) good sharpness in infinite position

+++ no more CAs visible in macro mode with f 11-13 - but wide open only (+/O) good to averidge correction of CAs.

++ very neutral color rendition

O some flare against the light

The macro abilities are much more better than most of "normal" tele zooms.

I test all my lenses (and there are a lot of lenses of my own) meanwhile with a self made test table incl. very fine lines in the center. Because some lens tests in photo newspapers are obviously sponsored, so that some famous brands seem to be favorized in judgement.

35-45 LP/mm for hobby customers
50-65 LP/mm for semi-profs
70-85 LP/mm for professionals
90-105 LP/mm for big posters

the resolution of this lens with 24 MP Fuji sensor (200 ISO) and f 5.6-8 is approx. 80 LP/mm = 160 black and white lines for 75 mm - a real excellent value for this old vintage lens - naturally in close up mode. The best resolution shows 135 mm with aperture f 11 - tested in a close up area of 40 x 60 cm: CAs nearly no more visible - perfect correction - and 65 LP/mm = 130 black and white lines per mm. For 205mm 55 LP/mm = 110 black and white lines. Extraordinary image quality magnificated up to 30 x 40 cm.

The strength of this lens is not the landscape or street photography, but especially macro shootings and close ups.

MY TIP FOR ASTRO-PHOTOGRAPHERS
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
PS. 2 night sky shootings (Plejades and Orion nebula) with K-S1 20 MP and open aperture f 3.5 at 205 mm without any CAs in the center of the images - I'm surprised. 1 sec. with 51.200 ISO. wonderful sharpness !

For birds and squirrels I prefer my PENTAX 55-300 with SOCIORE 1.8x top lens tele converter or SIGMA APO MACRO 70-300 super because of the nearly perfect correction of CAs in the corners.

But for macro shootings (butterflies a.s.o,) is this lens really suitable, in order to get very sharp photos.

Highly recommended

Pros: sharp, CA control, fast, well build
Cons: heavy.

I have the version with separate focus and zoom ring of this lens with macro option. I got it in a lot with my me super. I have to say this lens is a blast. the coating and the optical control seem made for digital. I don't know it its the case with the push pull version but mine is mind blowing. I wish I could use it more but the weight is overwhelming for this day and age.

I got this lens few days ago. Since I didn't find the exact lens on forum I'll write few words about this lens.

Name: AUTO ADMIRAL/Panagor PMC TELE ZOOM 1:3.5 75-205mm No.777299 Lens Cap Diam: 62mm
Aperture: f3.5 to f22, including half stops.
Macro: 1:7, 1:6, 1:5, 1:4, 1:3, 1:2.5
Width: 255mm
Length: 185mm - 225mm(When extended for macro)
Wight: 1250g
Mount: PK

I still havent tested this lens due to bad weather and no free time in the days over the week, only evenings. Going to give it a go this weekend so I'll post some photos.
One thing I can confirm for sure is that this lens is really heavy.
The marks regarding sharpnes, bokeh and other stuff are in the middle range as I have not tested the lens, yet. Hope I can edit that later.
And a few photos of the lens itself.

Pros: Build to last
Cons: To heavy
Sharpness: 7    Aberrations: 7    Bokeh: 6    Handling: 6    Value: 7

A friend loaned me this lens.

The first impression is positive, it is completely made of metal and glass.
When you mount it on the camera you notice how incredibly heavy it is (1175 grams) which quickly becomes very tiring for the arms.

I tested the lens on my Pentax k7, which provides a focal length of 110-310 mm, which makes you get up close objects.

Unfortunately I did not have time to test the macro function, but with a magnification of 1:2.5 will be really close!

The lens is sharp enough to be used on modern cameras, the weight actually helps to stabilize the image ...
