Lens MEPRO 35mm 3.5

Anyone know what this lens is ? I was not able to find anything meaningfull on the internet . except  couple of old  sell articles in google cache and this is it. Is it some well-known re-branded lens?  It is M42  and completely metal and heavy . On the side it says MADE in JAPAN .
