I wanted to point out that very often ... the Ottiches and Russian mirror have had a factory installation somewhat exaggerated.

I'll explain...

My MC 3m 5SA just bought me disappointed in sharpness.

Then I found out why ... the primary mirror had been too tight with the sealing ring and suffered tensions that changed its surface.

I dismantled and reassembled the whole goal carefully ... but in particular I was very attentive to the pressure exerted on the primary spec.

After my intervention ... it's a great 500mm mirror.

More than 90% of its peers.
