This photo represents all lens features in one take. I know that this is not a portrait but in many ways it describes all that I like about this lens. At F/1.8 DOF is really shallow, bokeh is pleasant and it is soft wide open enough to make portraits dreamy. If you want sharpness from this gem you need to step it down up to F/8. In my FD days it was most used lens in my bag (I did a lot of portraits in those days mid 80's) ISO: 100 Metering:spot Distance to target: about 1 meter Exposure Time: 1/80s My lens is permanently modified from FD to EF mount and it fits any EOS EF mount camera (home made modification) China EMF AF Confirm programmable chip calibrated for back-focus |
