This photo represents all lens features in one take. I know that this is not a portrait but in many ways it describes all that I like about this lens.
At F/1.8 DOF is really shallow, bokeh is pleasant and it is soft wide open enough to make portraits dreamy. If you want sharpness from this gem you need to step it down up to F/8. In my FD days it was most used lens in my bag (I did a lot of portraits in those days mid 80's)
