The last few days i have been testing with 50mm lenses. Old ones the; Helios 44M-4 58 mm f/ 2 MC and the Pentacon Prakticar 50 mm f/ 1.8 MC. The results were excellent on the canon 5DmIV. So i was curious what the result would be with the new Canon EF 50 mm f/ 1.8 STM. All with almost the same composition. I was not disappointed but my opinion is that the older lenses do give a better result.
