Additional information:

The Tamron 28-70 mm f/ 3.5-4.5 Adaptall-2 model 44A is a wide-angle fast prime lens for 35 mm SLR cameras popular in the 1970-90s (via the interchangeable Adaptall-2 bayonet mount).

The lens is multicoated.

It makes it possible to take 1:3.15 macro scale pictures.

The lens was released together with the Tamron 70-210 mm f/ 3.8-4.0 and also features a  simplified build as compared with the previous Tamron Adaptall-2 lenses.
