Additional information:

The Nikon AF Nikkor 28-80 mm f/ 3.5-5.6 D (II)  is a kit zoom lens for Nikon F cameras.

The Nikon AF Nikkor 28-80 mm f/ 3.5-5.6 D (II) lens supplemented the lineup of budget Nikon autofocus lens.  The distinctive feature of this series is a plastic bayonet mount.

As opposed to the first variant, this lens has a broader plastic focus ring and a different optical scheme (8/8 vs. 7/7). The minimum focusing distance has been slightly reduced, as well (0.4 m vs. 0.5 m).
