The Samyang 24mm F1.4 ED AS UMC is a full format wide-angle lens with manual focusing. However the Nikon variant has contacts and  may function in exposure automatic modes.

The optical scheme of the lens consists of 13 elements in 12 groups, including 4 ED elements and 2 aspherical lenses. In order to improve color rendering the UMC multilayer  anti-reflective coating is applied.

The Samyang 24mm F1.4 ED AS UMC is due to be on sale in February, 2012. RRP is  € 599, and € 625 for the Nikon variant.
