The Pentax SMC FA 43 mm f/ 1.9 Limited is a Limited series lens with a fixed focal length of 43mm. The focal length of the lens is equal to a 35 mm format frame diagonal, which makes it an ideal "normal" lens.
The compact size and light weight of the Pentax SMC FA 43 mm f/ 1.9 Limited makes it ideal for short travels, and its sufficient lens speed enables shooting in low light conditions. It is perfectly suitable for artistic photography, but can also be used for genre, studio, portrait, landscape and night photography.
The special ghostless lens coating ensures minimum light scattering in night back lighting conditions. The image generated by the lens is remarkable for its exceptional color rendering, sharpness and flexibility, as well as for almost complete absence of distortion and for a very beautiful picture.
The Pentax SMC FA 43mm f/1.9 Limited was also produced for rangefinder cameras with the 39 mm Leica Screw Mount. It was equipped with an external viewfinder with 43 mm and 50 mm picture frames.
