It is the world's smallest lens with such characteristics.

The DF(Dual Focus) system ensures the focusing ring immobility during autofocus operations.

The use of a multiturn spiral in the focusing mechanism eliminates the front lens rotation of the Sigma AF 28-70 mm f/ 2.8 EX Aspherical DF, which makes it cap and filter friendly. A petal hood is included with the lens.
