The Nikon AF Nikkor 24 mm f/ 2.8is an ultra wide-angle fast prime lens for 35 mm Nikon F SLR cameras.

The optical scheme takes advantage of the CRC system for focusing at near subjects.

In June, 1991 a new version went into production. It featured a rubberized instead of fine knurled focus ring. Serial number started with 3 (Pictures 4-5)
