The Canon EF 100-300mm f/5.6L  is a high-performance telephoto 3x zoom lens  for Canon EF SRL cameras.

It includes an ultra-low dispersion glass element. The lens excellently corrects chromatic and other types of aberrations. It delivers good resolution at all focal lengths. The image is fine. At the focal length of 300 mm its maximum aperture ratio is 0.25x.

It is a push-pull zoom lens. During focusing operations the from element rotates and extends around 1 cm. It has too much plastic in the construction. The image is irreproachable, which is traditional for Canon
