Lens is notable for a good quality of image for all aperture values. Wide-angle allows to get an amazing perspective. Fast speed allows to do without a strong light.
Using good optical material and a special lens design developers made a lens with a very good CA control. 2 Aspherical elements provide a high contrast at the edges of a frame.
Lens elements are well-treated thus minimizing secondary light and flare. Carl Zeiss T* multicoating provides better light transition ratio, high contrast and vivid colors.
