Additional information:
The HAIOU-64 58mm f/2 is a standard fast prime lens for SLR Minolta SR cameras.
It is generally known that Chinese companiesmanufactured cameras with the Minolta bayonet mount under the brand name of Seagull. It is less known that these cameras came complete with lenses of their own design.
In short, this was a cheap kit lens. The build is rather solid: glass and metall. It has some resemblance to outdated non-Ai Nikkors. According to the results of my tests, the lens is superior to the Biotar 2/58, let alone our domestic Gelios-44.
There is a multi-coated variant (marked with red letters MC). There is also a rather rare variant - HAIOU-71 1.4/50.
