The Canon TS-E 90 mm f/ 2.8 belongs to the 24-45-90 mm tilt-shift lineup of lenses, released by Canon in 1991.
The unique lens system affords capabilities of tilting and shifting relative to a film plane or camera sensor . By means of special adjustments the lens is able to tilt up to ± 8° up and down in each direction and to shift ±11 mm sideways parallel to the optical axis.
The lens provides excellent sharpness even when shooting wide open, and due to a thoroughly elaborated construction, it generates images with accurate color rendering, superb resolution, excellent sharpness and contrast across the frame. The system of floating elements provides a high image quality at short focal lengths. Links to online resources: PDF Files: Posted by: dv Date of publication: 12.10.2010
