The Vivitar Series 1 70-210mm f/2.8-4 Macro (ver.3 Komine) (the first figures in a serial number - 28).
Many photographers consider it the best of the first three versions regarding its sharpness and bokeh.
These lenses are the only of the first three series deserving consideration which can work on Pentax cameras in A-mode( for the rest - only manual mode is available).
It has an excellent sharpness when wide open and excellent color rendering. It has the highest resolution as compared with the previous two versions.
The lens body is made of metal. The aperture ring with half-stops (from f/2.8 to f/16).
It differs from Cosinain zoom direction.
Resolution (center/edge) at the focal length of 70 mm:
· f/2.8 - 49/39 lpmm
· f/8 - 69/62 lpmm
Resolution (center/edge) at the focal length of 210 mm:
· f/4 - 45/40 lpmm
· f/8 - 56/45 lpmm
