The Tokina AT-X 124 PRO DX II 12-24mm F4is a wide-angle zoom lens with a constant maximum aperture which can be used only on APS-C cameras with the Canon EF-S or the Nikon DХ bayonet mounts and cannot be used on cameras with full-frame sensors. It is different from the previous model(without index II) with a new ultra-sonic wave motor for auto-focusing of both systems and with improved coating.
The unique proprietary «One-touch focus» (FCM) function is used to switch between automatic and manual focusing of the lens. Shifting the focus ring along the lens barrel approximately 3-4 mm forward and back, you can choose manual or auto focus mode (there is a click sound heard).
In 2013 it has been replaced with the Tokina AT-X 12-28mm F4 PRO DX (model 128).
