Additional information:

The Carl Zeiss Planar T* 35 mm f/ 2 is a wide-angle fast lens with the T*-coating and 64° of FOV, ideally fit for genre and reportage photography.

Despite less convincing MTF results, as compared with its lens cousins,  it is considerably sharp and colorful, and handles back light perfectly well. The micro contrast is magnificent. It gets sharper up to f/4. When cropped, there is no explicit resolution fall to the periphery even with the wide open aperture; it is ideally even at f/5.6. No CAs and vignetting are visible.
