Additional information:

The Minolta MD Shift CA Rokkor-X 35 mm f/ 2.8  is fast wide-angle shift lens for 35 mm  SLR  Minolta MD cameras.

The lens came in two modifications.

The Minolta MD Shift CA Rokkor-X 35 mm f/ 2.8 is a shift lens featuring a peculiar effect: a variable field curvature. Only Minolta produced lenses with such a feature. There are two of them - the Minolta MD Shift CA Rokkor-X 35 mm f/ 2.8 and the Minolta MD VFC Rokkor-X 24 mm f/ 2.8

Besides the focus and aperture rings, and shift knobs, the lens also features a variable field curvature ring above the focus ring. When shooting, the center focus is not upset, but the field curves towards a photographer or in the opposite direction.
