The Sigma  19 mm f/ 2.8 EX DN

  • Length 45.7 mm

The Sigma 19mm F2.8 EX DNis a fast wide-angle prime lens for Sony E and Micro 4/3 mirrorless cameras.

The same lens is used as non-interchangeable on the Sigma DP1 Merill camera. A large size of the lens can be explained by higher requirements for telecentrisity of the Foveon X3 sensor than those of the Bayer sensor. Rear lenses deflect rays so  that angle of incidence to the sensor approaches 90 °.
