Owner reviews: Minolta MC Rokkor-PF 55 mm f/ 1.7

changing 02.02.2018 18:59:01
Period of use: 6 months

Strengths:

Smooth bokeh, excellent Minolta colors, built like a tank.  Has decent coma performance for a vintage standard lens.

Weaknesses:

Lacks critical sharpness, noticable on high density sensors like 16mpix+ APS-C.  Flare and ghosting resistance is bad.

Comments:

A great cheap lens for film or 24mpix full frame cameras.
