Additional information:
Porst Color Reflex Auto 50mm f/1.7 is a fast standard prime lens for 35 mm M42 screw mount SLR cameras.
German PORST photo chain distributed re-branded products of various companies.
This specific lens was produced by Cosina and was standard kit lens distributed with PORST reflex C-EE and PORST reflex C-TL cameras. Closest relative that I could find is argos/COSINA STL 1000 with lens COSINON AUTO 50 F/1.7.
All data stated in user manual is in lens description but only one thing is unclear and that is Optical scheme which states "6 lens". While I was searching for more information one this I stumbled on information that it is in reality 6 element in 4 groups construction. (a bit odd construction for F1.7 lens) I'm a bit busy at this time but I cant wait to take it out and snap some pictures and to see how it'll behave.
Lens features auto-manual diaphragm switch and was distributed with metal push on lens cap with PORST logo.
Push on cap is 51mm with plastic retention ring insert.
COSINA today produces two interesting brand of lens (Voigtlander and Carl Zeiss)
