This is the second version of this lens.  It can be identified by the serial number which begins *69 (nominally 369xxxxx - 1983, 469xxxxx - 1984, 569xxxxx - 1985)

It has a 'ZOOMLOCK' feature that allows the focal length to be set at a fixed position.

It differs from the similar lens without 'ZOOMLOCK' in that the front element does not rotate whilst focusing.

The first *64 version has a similar optical layout but has a different front end, longer zoom grip and is slightly longer and heavier.

The third *83 versions are similar in external appearence with a similar optical layout but are of different internal mechanical construction.
