The Minolta AF 28-85 mm f/ 3.5-4.5 is a kit lens released in1985 with the Minolta Maxxum/Dunax/Alpha 7000 camera. It optical scheme was borrowed from the non-autofocus Minolta MD 28-85mm f/3.5-4.5, released in 1981. The experts consider it to be one of the most successful Minolta non-AF lenses. The Minolta AF 28-85mm f/3.5-4.5 lens is compatible with Minolta AF digital SLR cameras produced by Minolta and Sony.
