Strengths:

Very well built

Very well placed preset aperture ring

Compact, about 1/2 size of the Solitgor 105mm 2.8 Tele-auto

Weaknesses:

Grease in the focusing mechanism of this lens and its clones turns into cement, focus ring get stuck dead! Very common problem.

Make sure it moves before bying online!

Comments:

My pristine (except for the stuck focus)10-blades copy was made by Tokina (H4** ser.#).Chubby almost square (h = 54mm w/o the thread, 60mm total, d = 54mm). Feels "dense", will be nose heavy on MIRRORLES WITH AN ADAPTER.

A guy on EBAy complained about completely stuck focus ring on Vivitar 8-blades version.
