Isco-Gottingen Westanar 50 mm f/ 2.8 Lens

The Isco-Gottingen Westanar 50mm f/2.8  is a standard prime lens for 35 mm Exakta SLR cameras with the М42 screw mount. The lens body is made of chrome-plated brass.

The lens came in two versions with the Exakta bayonet mount. The 1st version has a smaller size, a minimum aperture of f/16 and a minimum focusing distance of 1 m. The later version is a bit bigger, has a minimum aperture of f/22 and a minimum focusing distance of 0.65 m. The 2nd variant is less frequent. Coated lenses are marked with the red letter C. Filter diameter - 41 mm. 40.5 mm filters do not fit, and there is no possibility to indicate the original filter diameter.
