The Sigma AF 15mm F2.8 EX DG Diagonal Fisheyeis a fast superwide-angle full-format lens of the diagonal FishEye type. It has been designed for digital full-format cameras, but can be used on film cameras, as well. The super multi-coating optimized for digital cameras decreases flare and halation, and corrects color rendering.
The diagonal FishEye produces a full-frame image with barrel distortion, exaggerated perspective and angle of view of 180°, which is beyond human eye's ability. The lens has a very large depth of field. When used on small-format cameras, it acts as an ordinary superwide-angle lens.
The built-in hood makes it impossible to use screw mount filters. Filters are attached to the rear of the lens. Gelatin filters holder are included with the lens.
