Additional information:

The Steinheil München Cassarit 1:2.8 f=50mm  is a fast normal prime lens for 35 mm SLR cameras with the M42 screw mount.

The lens came as a kit lens for Braun cameras.

There is a second version of the lens, made for Braun-Paxette cameras, with M39 screw (but different from Leica M39 LTM: this one has 44 as focal flange), 12 blades and a range from f/2.8 to f/16. The optical scheme is a triplet.
