The Canon EF 80-200mm f/4.5-5.6 USM is a telephoto zoom lens for 35 mm SLR Canon EF cameras.
In November 1990 a "non-USM" version of the lens was introduced. It employed the same optical scheme - 10 elements in 7 groups - and was slightly different in weight and dimensions. The USM version was introduced in June 1992.
