Additional information:

The Isco-Gottingen Edixa-Westanar 50mm f/2.8 is a normal prime lens for 35 mm SLR cameras with the M42 screw mount.

The lens is single-coated. The lens body is made of chrome-plated brass.

This is the later version of the Isco-Gottingen Westanar 50mm f/2.8 with a more usual aperture control.

The optical design:reversed Tessar, cemented doublet in the front position. That's why the lens is good at close range and is not so good at infinity.

Filter diameter - 41 mm
