Jupiter-11 135 mm f/ 4 Automat Lens

The Jupiter-11 4/135 automat (Russian: Юпитер-11 4/135 автомат) was manufactured for Kiev-10 and Kiev-15 cameras (flange focal distance - 44 mm), equipped with a unique bayonet which provides aperture control from the camera only. This version is remarkable for its light golden 6-blade diaphragm, characteristic kiev-automat design, smaller dimensions as compared to other SLR modifications, high build quality, and  very decent resolution (42/29 lpmm according to zenitcamera.com).

The use of the automat lens with modern cameras requires rather complicated modification, but low prices and perfect condition of the lenses in the secondary market make them desirable for skilful manual lens enthusiasts.
