Additional information:

The Industar-61 L/Z 50 mm f/ 2.8 (Russian: "Индустар-61 Л/З 50/2.8") is a standard lens for SLR cameras with m39 and m42 screw mounts, based  on the Tessar optical scheme. It came in two variants: with and without multi-coating (MC)

The optical scheme was calculated by the Soviet optician Academician  Slyusarev G. and Sokolova V.

The aperture is made up of 6 curved blades (blackening is good) that create a somewhat rounded pentagon that made it possible to get an interesting characteristic bokeh.

The lens generates a sharp image with  good contrast, but with slight aberrations.

The lens has a good macrography potential. It enables to take 1:1.25 macro scale pictures or 1:1 with a reversed lens.

It came in several versions with different designations.

The following characteristics are given for the most mass and popular version - the Industar-61 L/Z 2.8/50 (Индустар-61Л/З 2.8/50).

Period of use: 18 year

Strengths:

Very sharp picture.

Very good for close-up in different use cases (Changeling, rings, double).

Works well in backllight, if MC version of lens

Built-in lens hood (recessed front lens)

Weaknesses:

The sharp bokeh

Comments:

Very good lens, but for a particular use. Say portraits, I would not shoot them. But the macro, landscape, art, etc, - an excellent choice!

About the starry aperture - sometimes produces interesting effects, but in general - for an amateur.

In the film, as it is better perceived outcomes, with a digital camera did not like ...
