Additional information:

The SMC Pentax-A 50 mm f/ 1.4  is a high quality kit lens for film and SLR cameras with the Pentax K bayonet mount.

It is an excellent 50 mm lens. It delivers a remarkable sharpness across the frame (it is rather soft when wide open, but stopping down to f/ 2.0 onwards improves the situation).

The lens is perfect for portrait photography on digital cameras. It produces soft and smooth out of focus blurring. On other cameras it can be used as an excellent fast standard lens.

The focus and aperture rings travel very smoothly.

The SMC Pentax-A  50 mm f/ 1.4 operates with all  PENTAX SLR autofocus and digital cameras in all the modes.
