The Olympus ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 14-150 mm f/ 4.0-5.6 MICRO (equivalent 35 mm 28-300 mm) has the following peculiarities:

It is intended  for compact  Micro 4/3 cameras, compatible with interchangeable lenses. The classic 4/3 format  differs fromMicroin smaller bayonet mount diameter  and a rear lens flange which is  50% as short. 

The lens has a powerful 10.7х zoom. Compound optical scheme includes two aspherical LD elements and has a high index of light refraction which results in high quality image.

At the long end the lens provides minimum working distance of  33 cm and a maximum magnification ratio of 0.24x (equivalent -35 mm. 0.48x) for macrography.

All the lenses are multi-coated to secure maximum light transmission and image definition.

Inner autofocus mechanism uses a lightweight compact block with two elements to secure fast and silent focusing.

The Olympus ED 14-150 mm f/ 4.0-5.6 MICRO is fit for shooting any scene: from close-up shot of children to group shots indoors and in narrow town streets. It is also well optimized for video shooting. Its weight was reduced to  35%  as compared with the present ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 18-180мм 1:3.5-6.3.  

The lens will be valued by travelers who wants to minimize the weight of phototechnique and at the same time to gain a large range of focal lengths for different genres.

The body is made of high-tech plastic with metal bayonet mount.

The average price: $810 to $850.
