Additional information:

The SMC Pentax DA 15 mmf/ 4 EDALLimited is a rather interesting Pentax wide-angle lens. It delivers very sharp and contrast images at medium aperture settings. At large apertures quality borders are slightly leveled. Vignetting is notable at f/ 4.

The SMC PENTAX DA 1:4 15mm f/4 ED AL Limited is literally one of the most interesting Limited series lenses. Besides all its merits, the lens is very lightweight and compact, which is appreciated by travelers.

The lens utilizes the optical scheme including ED glass elements, as well as special optic glass, ensuring high quality images.

Another SMC PENTAX DA 1:4 15mm f/4 ED AL Limited peculiar feature is an elaborate metal lens body with engraved  focal lengths and depth of field scales. Fit and finish is excellent. The manufacturer has preferred reliable metal design as before.

The lens is equipped with the Quick Shift Focus System to quickly select between AF and MF modes. A reliable focus drive mechanism has almost no plays and provides quick travel of optical elements during focusing operations.

The SMC Pentax DA 15mm f/4 ED AL Limited lens is ideally suitable for landscape, interior and other types of photography which require an exaggerated perspective and a wide angle.

Autofocusing speed is not high, though it is not the most important criterion for wide-angle and ultra wide-angle lenses.

Mean price ranges from 730 to 860 US dollars. The lens is a bit expensive for its class, but it is worth it.
