| Additional information:
The Canon EF-S 24mm f/2.8 STM is a pancake-design wide angle lens for Canon DSLR cameras with an APS-C sensor. The full-frame equivalent of its focal length would be ~38mm but that lens was built only for crop sensor cameras and it seems to be the crop version of the Canon EF 40mm f/2.8 STM pancake lens.
The maximum magnification is 0.27x, so it's not really a macro lens. On the other hand it's compatible with the ES12-II and the ES25-II extension tubes (but NOT compatible with the Canon extenders).
The angle of view is is relatively wide: 59°10' diagonally; 50°35' horizontally; and 34°55' vertically.
The AF system does an excellent work - it's quick and quiet.
