Additional information:

The Carl Zeiss Jena Visionar 141mm f/1.9 is an ultra fast projection lens.

No filter mount, no aperture and no helicoid.

The Visionar series of projector lenses were sold under the brands "Rathenower Optische Werke" (ROW) and "Carl Zeiss Jena" with a range of focal lengths from 55mm up to 200mm.

This was used in 35mm film projectors with 62,5 mm mount.

After individual adaptation it can be used with modern DSLMs and DSLRs, also with 35mm frame sensors. Its image circle is normaly for 18X24mm format (35mm movie format), so APS-C, but it can also illuminate full frame sensors (24X36mm).

The barrel of this six elements high speed lens is all metal. Center sharpness of all lenses from this series is very good.

Its weaknesses, by using this lens with a digicam, are the weight and the lack of of a diaphragm.
