The Tamron SP AF 10-24mm f/3.5-4.5 Di II LD Aspherical (IF)(Model B001) is an ultra-wide angle lens for digital APS-C cameras.
It makes it possible to achieve real wideangle on a cropped sensor. It features good lens speed and color rendering (with tints of yellow). Geometric distortion at wideangle is quite satisfactory. The lens is resistant to back light.
The Tamron SP AF 10-24mm f/3.5-4.5 Di II LD Aspherical (IF) is not equipped with an ultrasonic focus drive. Focusing is noisy, but nearly accurate.
The lens is very sharp from f/8-11 onwards.
Autofocus does not function correctly with outer cross-type focus sensors on Canon EOS 40D, 50D, 60D, 7D cameras.
