Owner reviews: Yashica AF 70-210 mm f/ 4.5
Strengths:
Cheap secondhand, well built metal construction, constant aperture, great for portraiture.
Weaknesses:
Narrow manual focus ring, focus ring awkward to reach in manual mode requiring holding the lens further down the barrel, focus ring a bit slack when disengaged from autofucs mode. Off axis distance scale may not appeal to some.
Comments:
I've used this lens for a while now although not exhaustively. I like to use a 70-210 for fashion and glamour work. and this lens gave nice bokeh wide open and excellent sharpness.
