The Minolta MC W.Rokkor-HH 35mm f/1.8 is a fast wide-angle prime lens for Minolta SR SLR cameras.

This is the MC-I Version of the 35mm F1.8 Rokkor: flat knurling focus ring design from 1968. Two years later, 1970, the focus ring design changed to MC-II version: "hill and dale" focus ring (in German called: "Berg und Tal"). In 1973 the design changed again to MC-X: rubber focus ring,  this lens:http://allphotolenses.com/lenses/item/c_2535.html#prettyPhoto .

The optical design of all these three Versions were identical.
