Pros:

compact and well assembled lens body,

excellent image quality at the center of the frame,

reasonably low level of distortion,

well corrected coma,

moderate astigmatism,

quiet, fast and effective autofocus.
Cons:

low image quality on the edges of a full frame,

high vignetting (visible even on the DX sensor),

many problems in bright back light,

visible chromatic aberration at closer focal lengths,
