It is rather compact for its focal lengths. The lens features a high-quality mechanical design.
The Tamron 75-250 mm f/ 3.8-4.5 shows good contrast and average contrast throughout the entire range of focal lengths.
The lens is equipped with a built-in retractable hood.
This is the second considerably redesigned variant of the lens (the first: model 04A).
