The Voigtländer Nokton 25 mm f/ 0.95 has a high-quality all-metal build. The movement of the focus ring is silky smooth. The aperture ring sharply fixes at each half-stop of the aperture.
Manual focusing and manual stopping do not make it possible to transfer information to EXIF.
It is equipped with a depth of field scale. The lens comes completed with a metal screw mount hood.
When shooting wide open, the Voigtländer Nokton 25 mm f/ 0.95 produces vignetting at 1.8EV. Stopping down to F 1.4 decreases the level of vignetting to 0.9EV, F2 - to 0.3EV.
Chromatic aberrations are insignificant throughout the entire aperture range.
So fast lenses usually produce very soft, flexible at maximum aperture. The Nokton 25/0.95 produces very high resolution in the center at F0.95, but rather soft edges and corners. Maximum sharpness on the edges is achieved at F4-5.6, and in the center - at F2-4.
