The Auto Mamiya-Sekor CS 50 mm f/ 1.7 is a standard fast lens for cameras with the Mamiya CS bayonet mount.

It used to be a kit lens for Mamiya NC1000 and NC1000S film SLR cameras, therefore it is the most usual Mamiya lens for 35 mm cameras. On this account it is rather inexpensive in the secondary market.

In fact the Auto Mamiya-Sekor CS 50 mm f/ 1.7 lens features very good mechanical and optical performance. It generates a sharp, flexible picture with good contrast at open apertures. It is very sharp on stopping down.
