The Konica Hexanon AR 35 mm f/2.8 is a fast wide-angle lens for SLR of the Konica AR system.

It is one of the first lenses for this system. It was borrowed from the Konica F system.

The Konica Hexanon AR 35 mm f/ 2.8 features a good image quality across the frame, high contrast, good resolution and almost no distortion.

A hood is recommended while shooting against back and side light because of rather heavy drop in contrast, and flare. The Konika hood is recommended: rectangular and deeply recessed.

The Konica Hexanon AR 35 mm f/ 2.8 came in two variants.

The last version with a minimum aperture of 22 is presented in the following review.
