The Canon EF 70-200 mm f/ 4 L USM is considered to be one of the best Canon zoom lenses.

The lens is rather light and compact (just 172 mm and 705 g), only the Canon EF 70-210 f/4 is lighter and more compact, but its build is not so good. So the lens is fit for travels and voyages.

The optical scheme includes two UD glass elements and one fluorite element.

The Super Spectra coating minimizes flare and halation.

There is some vignetting visible at f/ 4.

Pictures taken with this lens are sharp, contrastive, with beautiful natural color.

The ring ultra-sonic motor makes focusing fast and silent. The lens can boast an excellent quality of the build and it is very convenient in use.

The Canon EF 70-200mm f/4L USM does not extend on zooming, the front lens is non-rotating, focusing is internal.
