Owner reviews: Tamron 28 mm f/ 2.5 Adaptall-2 model 02B
Strengths:
- Cheap
- All metal construction
- Small and Light
- f/2.5 max aperture
- Smooth focus ring
Weaknesses:
- Soft corners at f/2.5, close it two stops ot improve
- No autofocus (it is a manual focus lens)
Comments:
This is a nice and small manual focus lens. My copy was bought around 2015.
You will get similar results with the more expensive Canon EF 28mm f/2.8, but the latter includes autofocus and is made of plastic.
The Nikon Nikkor 28mm f/2.8 Ai-S is better at any aperture, of course, it is also more expensive, big and heavier.
If you are on a budget consider this lens.

Strengths:
Really great build and sharp wide open at f/2.5 on full frame .
Weaknesses:
For his small size hard for think how great this lens are but has no weakness is doing great for what was made .
Comments:
For his small size and great sharpness wide open is great travel lens . If you really wanna made great photos with manual wide lens this lens even is cheap but is one of the best what i had once, If you learned photography on youtube tutorials how knealing shoot landscape on portrait mode than buy one brick big camera and most possible big lens for made impression than this lens is not for you...good luck
