The Samyang 35 mm f/1.4 AS UMCis a full format fast lens with manual focusing. The optical scheme consists of 12 elements in 10 groups, including 1 aspherical lens to reduce chromatic aberration and 2 high-refractive lenses to reduce dimensions and weight. A high-quality multilayer and anti-reflective coating is applied to increase contrast and improve color rendering. The lens has floating elements to maintain high quality of the image at the closest focusing distance.
The АЕ model for Nikon is equipped with a microprocessor unit controlling exposure settings and makes it possible to use iTTL flashes. Focal length and aperture settings data are saved in the EXIF file.
The market launch for the Canon and the Nikon bayonet mounts - May, 2011; the launch for other bayonet mounts is delayed.
