It's fast, easy to use and a good middle-wide angle lens.
Weaknesses:
The aperture ring is a little stiff
Comments:
Worth it's price
Good contrast, light lens, quite cheap. Much better on FF than APS-C.
Weaknesses:
One of the worst fast 50s overall on APS-C. The usual plastic FDn build.
Comments:
A lot of people like this lens because it is very cheap and balances well on small cameras. However, IQ is definitely inferior to, for example, the comparably cheap Minolta 50mm f/1.7 versions. Still can recommend it for FF.
