Period of use: 60 months

Strengths:

High contrast. Much better on FF than APS-C.

Weaknesses:

One of the poorest normal lenses overall. Odd color, soft, mediocre bokeh, etc. especially on APS-C.

Comments:

One of the cheapest old fast 50s you can get... but all the Minolta 50mm f/1.7 versions are as cheap and much better in every aspect except contrast.
